Do you want to secure your computer with free software?Well i am going to list some great software that will protect your PC
Anti-Virus=AVG
AVG is one of the best anti-virus software. And I am including commercial software.It uses less of your computer`s resources so you computer dosen`t slow down. AVG has updates almost every time you turn your computer on.AVG also tells you right then and there when a virus has entered your computer and asks you what to do with it.
Firewall=Zonealarm
I like this firewall because of the way it interacts with the user. When a program wants to use the internet it dosen`t automatically make the decision for you or opens another window on top of what you were working on.But it opens a small rectangle on the bottom right asking whether to allow or deny.It also gives detailed explanation of the program.
Spyware=Spybotsearch and destroy,Spywareblaster
Spybot search and destroy is one of the most common spy ware removal software used.It is a simple program so anyone can use it.All you do is run the check and remove th infected objects.But wouldn`t it be great for spy ware not even reaching your computer?Thats when spy ware blaster comes in play.This piece of software stops spy ware from entering in the first place.
Other
Another good software is Ad-aware which is basically a scan and then clean the infected files.Mozilla Firefox is an excellent browser.Its fast,reliable,and is more safe to use.
