Setting up the Motherboard

CPU

Some people prefer to have the motherboard in the case but it`s usually easier outside. The first step is to place the cpu(central processing unit) in the socket correctly aligned. Then put the thermal on the bottom piece of the cpu fan. Some come with thermal on it already. Then place it on top of the cpu.The next step is to turn the the clips to where the arrow points. Then connect the cpu fan`s power cable to the the cpu power connector which is located on the motherboard.
Memory(RAM)

RAM is very simple to install. All you have to do is to align the Ram sticks correctly to the sockets on the motherboard. The push in and make sure that it clicks.

Insert the motherboard so that the back of the motherboard is aligned with the backplate. Then slowly place it aligned with the case screws. The take a screw and tighten it but NOT to tight because it could cause damage.
Installing The Hardrive

Connecting all the cables

Now we have to connect all the cables.First connect the Main power to the motherboard. Then connect the four pin power for the cpu. Then Connect power for hardrive, videocard,cd drive etc..Then we need to connect the hard drive to the motherboard. You can do this via SATA or ATA.Same with the CD drive. For a floppy drive there is a special fdd cable and socket.
