Copy Windows Drivers From One Machine to Another

When you are working with computer drivers can be a big problem. You may of lost the driver CD and need to reinstall Windows or you want to export it to another computer with the same hardware or devices. You may try using this to get the drivers so you can install another version on Windows. 

The program that you will need is DriverMax. DriverMax will allow you to restore and backup your drivers on your computer. DriverMax also allows you to pick a specific driver and store it to a specific folder. You can use this to transfer driver from Vista to XP. 

When you launch it you will see a menu like this. To start exporting your drivers hit "Export driver"

Then hit next to see a list of all the drivers that are installed on your computer.

Then select a specific driver you want to store. YOu can also select all your drivers so you have a backup copy.

Then select next and you will be allowed to choose they way you wish to store the files. You can store them as a zip or store them in a folder.

 

Then you should be done and the files will be stored wherever you wanted them to be stored
