Microsoft to Take Office to the Web

Microsoft has announced a web version of Microsoft Office. It will offer Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Onenote.  Now users are able to edit their documents, a feature that was missing in the previous web versions.

MIcrosoft stated that users will be able to “access, create, edit, share and collaborate” their documents, said Microsoft.  This was announced at Microsofts`s Professional Developers Conference.In the absence of Office Live other web office apps have Formed such as Zoho and Google Docs. On a nice note Office Live is compatible with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari.
