Apple iTunes Music Store now DRM-Free
This year it wasn`t Steve Jobs giving the keynote it was Philip Schiller.
After revealing the new updates to iLife and the new Macbook Pro, he said that there will be changes to the iTunes store. The main change is that they are taking digital rights management from the songs. There will also be a better pricing system and better iPhone integration.
Schiller says that iTune will have 10 million DRM-free music by the end onf the first quarter of 2009. The fricing system will have three price categories: 69 cents, 99 cents and $1.29.The 69 cents are for old songs and the $1.29 are for new hit singles. Most of the albumes are to be still priced at $9.99.
