Today I am going to show you an easy way to make a web/file server. First you'll need to download a program called WampServer (windows apache mysql php). Once you have installed and configured all the settings, you will see the root directory (WWW) and start from there. This root directory is where you place your files that are to be shown on the server. This way of installation beats installing everything manually. You will then see an icon on the taskbar and can manage everything from one place.
