Trapster Maps alerts you of Speed Traps

A Webapp called Trapster Maps will alert you when you are coming into a zone where cops usually monitor for speeders. These spots are given by other users. When your driving down a road and see a cop just press a button and it will be updated. Then when another person drives in that area you can confirm that it is a trap. Trapster is currently available for the Windows Mobile, the BlackBerry, the Nokia N95 and other S60 smart phones. It will soon be released for the iPhone 3G.

Google`s awaited Phone will debut

The highly anticipated Google powered will be avalible in one more month. It will sell for under $20 less than the Apple iPhone. The device is made by HTC and the provider is T-mobile. However the main buzz is that it runs Google Android, which is Google open source mobile operating system.

The phone comes with three pre-installed applications: Ecorio, measures your eco footprint, ShopSavvy, scans bar codes to tell you the price, BreadCrumbz, which can create a map using photos. Although it dosen`t support DRM protected audio files, it has an Amazon app where you can purchase songs.

The phone has a built in compass which gives Google map a 360 degree feature. Its browser is based upon Webkit, which is the same thing Chrome is based on.

Other apps allow support for Gmail and Youtube. The touchscreen is similar to the iPhone.

It has a 3.17 display, and .62� thick, has a full QWERTY keyboard and swivels up similar to the Sidekick. The phone will be released on October 22 for $180. So far Apple dosen`t have to fear yet.�
