Insert a PDF into Powerpoint

You may have a pdf document that you want to include into a Powerpoint Presntation. I will show you how to do this using Office 2007.
Open up powerepoint and select the insert tab
Under the text group on the far right you will see the Obeject button. Click on it
Then select what kind of item you want to add, which in this case is Adobe Acrobat Document
Then click OK and select the PDF document you want to add. Then you can edit it if you would like. After you are done select File and Exit and return to Presentation_Name
Then you will see thepdf file in your Powerpoint Slide

If you want to open Office 2007 files with office 2000, XP, or 2003, then you need to download the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack. So now if you get a Office 2007 file you can open and edit it. It does llimit some function but overall works pretty well.

Translate Selected Text in Microsoft Word 2007

We live in a world where everyone doesn`t speak the same language. However we still have to communicate with them. Microsoft Word 2007 has a solution built into their word processor.
- The first step is to select the text you want to translate
- Then click on the Review tab and Translate

- Then either on the left or right hand side you will get a sidebar where it will ask you what language to translate it in. You may choose to have the entire document translated or only the selected areas.

- The translation will be done through WorldLingo and will be in the bottom part of your sidebar.

Add a Background Color To your Word 2007 Documents

You may be tired of the same default color of your Word documents. I will show you how you can change it easily.
First select the page layout tab. Then choose page color and pick the color that you want to be the background.
To see a preview all you need to do is hover over the color and you can see how it looks with your document. Once you select your background you are done.
