PSP 3000: Just some Upgrades

Sony announced PSP 3000 this Wednesday at the� Leipzig Games Convention in Germany. Now this has been rumored on the web for weeks.Now there doesn`t seem to be any major changes but small upgrades. So if you bought the PSP 2000 don`t worry.

Here are the new upgrades that Sony has announced:
- Antireflective screen - There will be no glare on the screen with bright light. So now you play outdoors. There also will be greater contrast. The response time has doubled and a wider color gamut.
- Built-in microphone -� This will be handy for the integrated Skype service. So you will not have to purchase a seperate headset with a mic.
- 480i output - For gameplay when the TV is connected with the PSP. The previous version(PSP 2000) only features 480p.
The PSP 3000 will release worldwide on October 15. It will sell for $294 or �200.

AT&T says MediaFLO will launch in May

AT&T announced today that it will be providing Qualcomm’s MediaFLO service this May.The company gave the details saying more information will be available at the CTIA in Las Vegas.AT&T says the service will launch particularly for two phones.The LG Vu and Samsung Access.This service was supposed to be launched towards the end of 2007.Pricing will be revealed when the service is available.
A spokesperson for AT&T said to Reuters,they are waiting till May to provide the service because "a brand new service on a brand new network, and two brand new devices".But was it that or because of limited network coverage and it being only offered to a small selection of devices?
Verizon Wireless has been offering this service for quite sometime and is not that popular.Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs told RCR that growth of TV on mobile devices "going slower" than Qualcomm`s expectations.

Apple might offer music subscription service

Apple is re-thinking their music plan.Apple plans on have preloaded songs on iPods.This means that Apple would have to share a part of their revenue with record labels.
The deal that Apple and the record labels are talking about is to license the music and give a part of the device sales.The apple device ,which hasn`t been determined yet, would have songs included in with it.After a period of time,maybe about six months or a year, would go into a subscription type of plan.
Apple started talking with Universal Music Group, the largest of the four big record labels.They started discussing this addition two months ago.This similar to what Nokia and Universal Music Group had last year

NVIDIA launches the 9800 GX2

NVIDIA a well known graphic chip maker has had great success in 2007. This year however it has some rougher competition.ATI released Radeon HD 3850 and 3870 also the dual GPU 3870X2 that was released in the beginning of this year.The 9600GT NVIDIA was released in February,which is in the midrange to ATI’s HD 3800 series.However the company`s main market came from the Geforce 8 series until today.
NVIDIA’s 9800 GX2 is a dual GPU card.However differnet from the ATI’s 3870 X2, the 9800 GX2 is designed on two printed circuit boards (PCBs) with a one cooling system between both of the cores.The card isis 10.5 inches long and is dual-slot.
The card can now carry video and audio over a single HDMI cable seen on back of the card.
