Does GTA 4 live up to the hype?
Of course it does. Just like its predecessors it was a game you could'nt stop playing. However they did change one major thing that i think is cool. Thats the shooting skem. Before when you aimed at someone it would lock onto that person and it would be fairly easy after that to kill them. However know the shooting tactic is now more like Gears of War. Its a new feeling and it make the game even better. Another intresting thing is when your killing someone and you cant seem to catch them one shot in the leg will stop them and they will start to limp and after that there done. And instead of hijacking a car just point it the bad boy( your gun) at the person and they will get out like a baby and start screaming. And the online is just amazing. You and 15 friends can just go to town and start killing people for fun or just kill each other. All in all it is just an amazing game and i highly recommed it to fans of GTA or those newcomers in gaming.

I'm floored by the response GTA IV has received from the gaming media. The two game review sites I visit the most, IGN and GameSpot, both gave GTA a perfect score. That's monumental. Last I recall that happening was way back in the N64 days when 'The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time' accomplished this. That was 10 years ago. I have yet to play GTA IV but my expectations are high and based on what I've seen and read, Rockstar is to be commended for a job exceedingly well done.
I've experienced game firsthand and its alot of fun. It has its fair challenges and unique events but the one thing that astonished me was the multiplayer. It's beyond halo 3, gears, and and rainbow six. It never gets old theres always something you want to do. You want to 2 jump off the empire state building go ahead theres nothing stopping you, you want to fly a helicopter into the ocean go ahead, you want to take an rpg and shoot it into a crowd of people go ahead the only thing stopping you is the cops along with cops who will jump off legdes to get to you. Overall gta 4 has been the best experience this whole year the only thing it will be challenged by is gear of war 2.
